Underwriting Team LeadWe are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our underwriting team. As an Underwriting Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a group of associates to meet all service level agreements (SLAs) relative to any and all functions in the mortgage underwriting area.Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.Coordinate activities of the department with the manager to include workflow monitoring, process improvement, training, reporting, and special projects.This role requires leadership and supervisory experience in mortgage underwriting with a focus on team management and workflow coordination.Key Responsibilities:Team Supervision: Supervise and lead a group of associates to meet all SLAs relative to any and all functions in the mortgage underwriting area.Reporting and Analysis: Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.Workflow Coordination: Coordinate activities of the department with the manager to include workflow monitoring, process improvement, training, reporting, and special projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to our success.Requirements:A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in underwriting US residential mortgage.In-depth knowledge of different types of mortgage and its functioning.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong customer service skills, negotiation skills, and leadership skills required.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, along with the ability to analyze numbers and make decisions based on the situation.
