The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing risk and making informed decisions to support our clients' needs.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze loan applications and supporting documentation.Assess borrower creditworthiness and risk factors.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.Communicate with loan officers and clients to gather additional information as needed.Make informed decisions on loan approvals or denials.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.Relevant certifications in mortgage underwriting are a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Live mortgage underwriting.Strong understanding of Conventional/FHA/VA loan programs.Proficiency in Encompass or similar mortgage origination software.Required SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail.Proficient in mortgage underwriting software and tools.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in the US Mortgage Live Underwriting is must.Knowledge of current mortgage regulations and compliance standards.Strong understanding of Conventional/FHA/VA loan programs.Pay range and compensation packageThe salary for this position ranges from 15 lakhs to 25 lakhs Indian Rupees annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
