Role Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (FICO) to design, configure, and implement SAP FICO solutions, ensuring seamless integration with GTM/SD, PP/MM, and TM modules. The role requires a professional who can provide functional expertise, develop improved business processes, and facilitate end-to-end SAP lifecycle implementations.

You will play a critical role in supporting SAP upgrades, new entity rollouts, and ongoing system optimization, ensuring a high degree of user satisfaction while adhering to organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, customize, configure, and test the SAP FICO module with touchpoints to GTM/SD, PP/MM, and TM modules.
  • Successfully implement and optimize financial processes into SAP, offering functional expertise, guidance, and user training.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, collaborating with business teams to identify, analyze, and map business requirements.
  • Write and debug Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for FICO processes and custom configurations.
  • Analyze current business processes, recommend solutions, and document improved business workflows.
  • Lead and support SAP upgrades (e.g., 1709 to 1909) and new entity rollouts.
  • Facilitate full lifecycle implementations of SAP FICO (Project Preparation to Go-Live).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration between SAP FICO and other modules.
  • Provide leadership and direction by evaluating plans, strategies, and documentation for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related fields.
  • SAP FI experience: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Financial Consolidation.
  • SAP CO experience: Profit and Cost Center Reporting, Product Costing, and COPA.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, GTM, and TM modules.
  • Proven experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations (from Project Preparation to Go-Live).
  • Strong business process design and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to write and debug FSDs for configurations and reverse-engineer custom solutions.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
