About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities across multiple sites. The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, purchase planning, material tracking, and ensuring timely availability of resources as per project requirements. This role is crucial in controlling costs, improving material efficiency, and supporting smooth execution of site operations.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand project BOQs, technical specifications, and site material requirementsCreate purchase requests, obtain quotations, negotiate with vendors, and finalize purchase ordersDevelop and maintain a strong vendor network for civil, electrical, mechanical, and MS structural materialsTrack material procurement schedules to align with project timelinesCoordinate with site teams for timely delivery, reconciliation, and consumption trackingMaintain purchase records, agreements, delivery notes, pricing and cost comparisonsEvaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, delivery, and serviceEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and budget approvalsLiaise with accounts for timely vendor payments and resolve invoicing issuesSupport implementation of digital purchase tracking systems and process standardizationRequired Qualifications & SkillsDiploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline5–7 years of experience in procurement (preferred exposure to construction / MEP / elevator industry)Strong knowledge of construction materials, market rates & vendor sourcingGood negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/Procurement toolsAbility to manage multiple orders and deliver within deadlinesStrong analytical and documentation skillsPreferred CompetenciesExperience in costing & vendor developmentUnderstanding of statutory requirements (GST, e-way bills, delivery challans etc.)Ability to work in a structured and process-driven environmentStrong coordination skills with cross-functional teamsContact - 8595401369Hiringpoint.solutions@gmail.com
