Project Description:

  • We are engaged by a leading financial institution to support their capital markets operations with cutting-edge technology solutions. Our goal is to enhance their front-office processes and trading systems by building a strong offshore team that will work closely with their in-house experts.
  • We are seeking a Front Office Business Analyst with over 4 years of strong capital markets experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, optimizing trading workflows, and ensuring the successful implementation of front-office solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to critical capital markets initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • - Collaborate with traders, quants, and other front office stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • - Analyze and optimize trading workflows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • - Support the implementation of front office systems, including trade capture, order management, and risk management platforms.
  • - Facilitate the integration of new trading products and strategies into existing systems.
  • - Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to enhance front office operations.
  • - Work closely with technology teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • - Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of implemented solutions.
  • - Provide ongoing support and training to front office users, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • - Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the capital markets industry.

Mandatory Skills Description:

  • - 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital markets industry, with a strong focus on front office functions.
  • - Either FRM Level 2 or CFA Level 3 certification is mandatory for this role
  • - Deep understanding of trading workflows, including trade capture, order management, and risk management.
  • - Experience working with various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
  • - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
  • - Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
  • - Familiarity with front office systems and platforms, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, Calypso, or similar.
  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with traders and other front office stakeholders.
  • - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

  • - Experience with trading platforms such as Murex, Calypso, or any other trading system.
  • - Experience with regulatory reporting requirements and compliance in the capital markets industry.
  • - Knowledge of quantitative finance and experience working with quants and traders.
  • - Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Python, R, or Tableau.
  • - Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • - Relevant certifications in capital markets, such as CFA or similar.
  • - Understanding of emerging technologies in capital markets, such as blockchain, AI, and machine learning.
