We are engaged by a leading financial institution to support their capital markets operations with cutting-edge technology solutions. Our goal is to enhance their front-office processes and trading systems by building a strong offshore team that will work closely with their in-house experts.


We are seeking a Front Office Business Analyst with over 4 years of strong capital markets experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, optimizing trading workflows, and ensuring the successful implementation of front-office solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to critical capital markets initiatives.


Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with traders, quants, and other front office stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

- Analyze and optimize trading workflows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Support the implementation of front office systems, including trade capture, order management, and risk management platforms.

- Facilitate the integration of new trading products and strategies into existing systems.

- Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to enhance front office operations.

- Work closely with technology teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of implemented solutions.

- Provide ongoing support and training to front office users, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

- Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the capital markets industry.

• Obtain signoffs for completed platform mappings.


Mandatory Skills:

- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital markets industry, with a strong focus on front office functions.

- FRM Level 2 certification is mandatory for this role.

- Deep understanding of trading workflows, including trade capture, order management, and risk management.

- Experience working with various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.

- Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

- Familiarity with front office systems and platforms, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, Calypso, or similar.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with traders and other front office stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.


Nice-To-Have Skills:

- Experience with trading platforms such as Murex, Calypso, or any other trading system.

- Experience with regulatory reporting requirements and compliance in the capital markets industry.

- Knowledge of quantitative finance and experience working with quants and traders.

- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Python, R, or Tableau.

- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

- Relevant certifications in capital markets, such as CFA or similar.

- Understanding of emerging technologies in capital markets, such as blockchain, AI, and machine learning.
