Then apply for the position of System and Network Administrator at the IT Managed Services department of the RPBG . As a System and Network administrator, you provide support to users (both internal and external) and you address customers professionally. You ensure correct and fast registration and handling of incidents, malfunctions, questions and requests in an automated environment. You are able to apply the right solutions to reported problems based on your technical insight. In addition, you continuously contribute to improving the service.

Responsibilities

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Managing and monitoring servers, networks and other IT systems.
- Perform periodic system and network checks to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Updating and patching software and firmware to ensure stability, security and compatibility.
- Installing and configuring new hardware, software and network components.
- Resolving complex technical issues and incidents, both on-site and remotely.
- Coordinate with other IT teams, users, and vendors to resolve issues efficiently and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure correct and rapid registration and handling of incidents, malfunctions, questions and requests in an automated environment.
- Performing backup and recovery activities to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Advising and assisting junior system administrators with complex projects and problems.
- Making recommendations for improvements in systems, security and technology.

Qualifications

Your profile

- Minimum HBO work and thinking level;
- Affinity with networks and systems;
- Full-time available;
- Good communication skills both verbal and written (English);
- Ability to work in a structured and process-oriented manner;
- Stress-resistant, proactive, accurate and flexible;
- Able to work both independently and in a team.

In addition, you have up-to-date knowledge of:

- IP Networking
- Firewalls
- Routing protocols
- Switching
- Wireless technologies
- The design and management of Microsoft Windows/Windows server domain environments
- The design and management of virtual environments including VMware, Proxmox and Hyper-V
- VOIP (bonus)
