NOVARGI Group, as a highly specialized Process Package and Plant Contractor for the Energy Sector, we contribute to a better tomorrow with our process and engineering solutions. The Company is acting worldwide from our headquarters in Europe (Spain) and our centers in India, China and Middle East leading projects in the Upstream, Downstream, Circular Economy and Transition Energy.

NOVARGI Indian branch, is mainly focused on Engineering activities for the whole group and Project management activities.

Job Overview:

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting across a wide range of hardware, software, and network systems. This position ensures that end users can efficiently utilize company technology and applications by resolving technical issues in a timely and effective manner. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a solid foundation in IT infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with ITIL processes and best practices.

Location: Pune, India

Key Responsibilities:

- Hardware Knowledge: Expertise in supporting HP laptops, Logitech peripherals, Avaya phone systems, and other critical hardware systems.
- Desktop Operating Systems: Experience with desktop operating systems and Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
- Application Support: support experience with Office 365, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe products.
- Basic User Administration: Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), DNS, and DHCP for basic user administration.
- Network Troubleshooting: Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting VPN-related issues.
- Diagnostic Utilities: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as Anydesk/Copilot remote support and the HP support portal for troubleshooting.
- ITIL Knowledge: Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment with a solid understanding of ITIL principles and processes.

- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, active listening, and effective questioning techniques.
- Documentation: Excellent documentation skills for recording issues, solutions, and processes.
- Learning Ability: Ability to absorb and retain technical information quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail for accurate troubleshooting and process documentation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 to 5 years of experience in IT support or a technical support role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with hardware troubleshooting, Windows OS, and various software applications.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and practices.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are advantageous.
