Job Title: Privacy Compliance SpecialistThis role involves overseeing privacy legal, compliance, internal audits, and operational management across physical campuses.The successful candidate will report to the Global Data Protection Officer and be responsible for coordinating and managing data privacy issues and risk across all operations.Key Responsibilities:Developing and implementing campus-wide privacy compliance strategies in accordance with Indian data protection laws and international regulations.Conducting regular privacy and data protection audits, identifying risks, and recommending remediation measures.Coordinating with operational teams to ensure compliant handling of personal data and providing advice on privacy issues.Drafting, reviewing, and updating privacy policies, procedures, and notices tailored for educational settings.Reviewing and negotiating customer and vendor contracts, including drafting data processing agreements.Conducting privacy impact assessments and organizing ongoing privacy awareness and training for employees and faculty members.Responding to data subject requests and monitoring regulatory updates and sector trends.Requirements:The ideal candidate should have a minimum 4 years of privacy or compliance experience, with exposure to audit and operations, preferably in the education sector. Familiarity with Indian data privacy laws and global regulatory frameworks is essential.
