Lead Data Governance InitiativeAs a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for driving enterprise-level data governance initiatives across multiple business domains. This role focuses on establishing robust governance frameworks, facilitating business workshops, and partnering with technical teams to operationalize governance using specialized tools and platforms.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and institutionalize data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across business units.Conduct business workshops with enterprise clients to define governance objectives, roles, and ownership models.Help set up and formalize the Data Governance Council — document charters, roles, responsibilities, and governance operating models.Work with data engineering, architecture, and security teams to implement governance controls using platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Implement and monitor AI governance principles ensuring compliance, ethical AI use, and adherence to organizational policies.Requirements:Strong experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Information Governance within enterprise environments.Proven ability to conduct governance business workshops and translate outcomes into actionable governance models.Experience in establishing and operationalizing governance councils and defining data ownership structures.Hands-on exposure to governance tools and technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Preferred Qualifications:8–12 years of total experience with at least 4–5 years in Data Governance.Certifications in Data Governance, Data Management (DAMA, DCAM, CDMP), or Microsoft Data/AI certifications are an advantage.What We Offer:We foster a culture of inclusivity and support, with remote work options and a fully supported work-from-home setup to ensure your comfort and productivity.
