Monotype also provides a first-of-its-kind service that makes fonts more accessible for creative professionals to discover, license, and use in our increasingly digital world.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems & Network Administrator to manage our enterprise-grade IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco and Meraki networking platforms, along with strong knowledge of system administration, network security, and enterprise-scale deployments. You will be responsible for the design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and support of critical network and systems infrastructure.What you'll be doing:Network Administration• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco switches, routers, firewalls (ASA/Firepower/FTD), and Meraki appliances.• Design and implement secure LAN/WAN and wireless network architectures.• Manage VPNs, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, NAT, DHCP, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).• Optimize network performance and proactively resolve latency, connectivity, and throughput issues.Systems Administration• Administer Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs) and Linux-based systems.• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and Hyper-V.• Perform patching, backup, and disaster recovery planning.• Maintain monitoring systems for uptime, performance, and security (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).Security & Compliance• Implement and maintain firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security.• Ensure network and system compliance with IT policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.Cloud & Infrastructure Projects• Collaborate on hybrid-cloud connectivity and deployments (AWS, Azure).• Lead or participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and new deployments.Documentation & Support• Maintain accurate documentation: topology maps, configuration records, SOPs.• Provide Tier 3 support for IT incidents and service requests.• Mentor junior administrators and serve as technical SME for escalations.What we're looking for:• 8–10 years of relevant experience in systems and network administration.• Strong hands-on experience with:o Cisco Catalyst/Nexus series switcheso Cisco ASA / Secure Firewall / FTDo Cisco Meraki MX, MR, MS devices• Expertise in routing/switching protocols and security configurations.• Solid understanding of Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization.• Familiar with ITIL practices and change management processes.• Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for root cause analysis.• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.• Certifications in Cisco CCNP (Enterprise or Security), Cisco Meraki CMNA are preferred.• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS Solutions Architect certification is good to have.• Certification in CompTIA Security+ / CEH / ITIL Foundation is a plus.What's in it for you:• Hybrid work arrangements and competitive paid time off programs.• Comprehensive medical insurance coverage to meet all your healthcare needs.• Competitive compensation with corporate bonus program & uncapped commission for quota carrying Sales.• A creative, innovative, and global working environment in the creative and software technology industry.• Highly engaged Events Committee to keep work enjoyable.• Reward & Recognition Programs (including President's Club for all functions).• Professional onboarding program, including robust targeted training for Sales function.• Development and advancement opportunities (high internal mobility across organization).• Retirement planning options to save for your future, and so much moreMonotype is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
