Job Title: Contract SpecialistAbout the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to own and scale our US contracting function, supporting our fast-growing sales motion. As a skilled contract specialist, you will negotiate complex enterprise deals, work across jurisdictions (US, UK, EMEA, APAC), and be the go-to advisor on privacy, AI, and IP issues.The ideal candidate will have a business-minded approach, able to say 'yes, and' to business needs without compromising risk. If you're someone who thrives in ambiguity, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys solving legal puzzles fast, this role is for you.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate various agreements (MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, vendor and partnership agreements, NDAs, teaming arrangements, etc.).Drive deals to close by partnering with Sales, Finance, and Implementation teams to accelerate revenue while protecting company interests.Identify commercial and legal risks early and propose practical, business-friendly mitigations.Counsel internal teams on privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and intellectual property issues across multiple jurisdictions.Translate complex legal positions into clear, actionable guidance for non-lawyers.Track legal trends in tech, AI, and data regulation; brief leadership on emerging risk areas.Develop templates, playbooks, and deal trackers that streamline operations.What You'll NeedA qualified lawyer with 5+ years of PQE, ideally in a tech (SaaS/product) or fast-growth environment.Experience in US commercial contracting (enterprise sales preferred).Confident negotiating with large customers and procurement teams.Adept at privacy and IP counseling, including data transfer and AI-related issues.A strategic doer—equally comfortable drafting complex contracts and advising execs.A clear communicator who can disagree without drama and get things done.Benefits and PerksAutonomy with impact – you'll shape the legal backbone of a growing global business.Fully remote – work where you do your best thinking.Health, vision, and dental coverage.Flexible hours across time zones.A no-egos culture that values sharp thinking and bias for action.
