Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).Perform user and group management, permissions, and access control.Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.Manage system updates, patches, and software installations using YUM/APT package managers.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network -related issues.Manage system backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.Configure and monitor critical services such as Apache/Nginx, SSH, DNS, FTP, and cron jobs.Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls, SELinux, and access control policies.Maintain system logs, monitor for anomalies, and support incident resolution.Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell or Bash scripting.Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for server maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.Maintain clear documentation for system configurations, standard operating procedures, and asset inventory. RequirementsThis role reports to the IT Lead Years of Experience: years of Experience in Linux System Administration Required Skills & CompetenciesProficient in Linux server administration (Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu).Strong understanding of file systems, process management, and permissions.Hands -on experience in network configuration and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, routing).Experience with shell scripting and automation tools (Bash, cron jobs, etc.).Familiarity with web server setup and configuration (Apache/Nginx).Understanding of virtualization and cloud environments (AWS EC2, VMware, etc.).Experience in system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or similar).Excellent analytical, problem -solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
