IT Infrastructure Specialist Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to support our distributed team and ensure secure, reliable IT operations across systems, networks, and devices.Provide remote technical assistance for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning laptops, accounts, and tools.Maintain accurate documentation for IT support procedures.Manage user access and permissions across platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).Monitor system access and ensure compliance with established policies.Support VPN, endpoint security, and multi-factor authentication setup.Implement industry best practices to protect sensitive data (HIPAA, SOC2 alignment).Perform regular audits of access controls, patches, and updates.Respond to IT security incidents and escalate as needed.What We're Looking For:A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.
