Job Title: Tennis Content EditorWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated tennis content editor to join our dynamic editorial team. The ideal candidate will have excellent proofreading skills, be familiar with the fundamentals of English language and be passionate about tennis.The content editor will be responsible for editing and publishing 20-25 articles daily, ensuring that all content is accurate, engaging and meets the highest standards of quality. Additionally, they will need to research facts, verify legitimacy of statistical data and enhance the overall quality of content before it goes live on our website.Responsibilities include:Actively editing and publishing articles daily.Proofreading articles to ensure no errors remain and checking plagiarism in the articles before they're published.Researching to ensure veracity of facts as well as identifying incorrect claims and eliminating them immediately.Publishing of articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.Mentoring and guiding writers to refine and boost their quality, output and overall performance.Ensuring smooth daily operations of writers in the tennis division.Undertaking other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.You'll be a perfect fit if you have:A passion for tennis or interest in picking up nuances of the sport.Excellent knowledge of the English language and American culture.Quick fact-checking and enhancing editorial quality of content.Leadership qualities, people management skills and flexibility for event-coverage days.A keen eye for enticing titles and subheadings and basic SEO knowledge.Requirements include:Minimum 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.Perks include:Completely remote working space.Flexible working hours.Location: Work From Home.
