As an agency working exclusively with Australian clients, we need a specialist who understands high-intent search behaviour, competitive dynamics, bid influences, and scalable structuring.This is not a generic performance marketing role.This is not Meta or SEO.This is deep, technical Google Search.Your foundation will be search strategy — and you’ll be part of our next evolution: integrating AI into campaign optimisation and performance workflows as we establish our own AI company next year.Key Responsibilities • Build and lead advanced Google Search strategies for Australian businesses across multiple industries. • Plan keyword architecture, match-type structuring, bidding frameworks, and audience models built for long-term scale. • Decode auction insights, competitor behaviour, search intent patterns, and market seasonality. • Write high-quality ad copies and extensions aligned with Australian user psychology. • Suggest actionable improvements for landing-page relevance and conversion flow. • Interpret dashboards from Looker Studio and other BI tools (prepared by the Data Analyst team) and turn them into strategic actions. • Partner with analytics and GTM teams for enhanced conversions, event validation, and testing frameworks. • Drive controlled experiments with clear hypotheses — bidding strategy tests, segmentation trials, ad variation tests. • Collaborate with AI initiatives & coordinate with multi-country teams to ensure aligned, efficient execution.Cross-Country Collaboration • Australia: Clients, Project Managers, Head of Operations • India: Data Analysts, Meta, SEO, Google Ads Teams & Development Team • Philippines: Design, Social Media, and Content TeamsYou will be the strategic bridge — ensuring every team moves in the same direction.Required Expertise • Strong experience solely in Google Search Ads — managing high-budget or international accounts. • Deep understanding of Australian markets, search triggers, behaviour patterns, cost dynamics, and competitive intensity. • Mastery over automated + manual bidding, match-type strategy, Quality Score components, and impression share optimisation. • Ability to translate dashboards (Looker Studio / Power BI / any advanced data tools) into strategic decisions. • Strong reasoning and analytical thinking — able to connect search patterns with business goals. • Familiarity with AI tools (no coding required) and an eagerness to adopt AI-driven optimisation workflows. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple countries. • Google Ads Certification preferred.Again we Repeat - What This Role Is Not • Not Meta Ads • Not SEO • Not dashboard creation or GTM execution • Not a junior tactical roleYour domain is strategy, insight, and cross-functional direction — with support teams handling execution layers.Why This Role MattersAustralian clients expect intelligent, data-led decision making.
