Legal Operations ManagerJob Description:The Legal Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end legal operations spanning India and US entities, encompassing contract management, compliance governance, notice handling, external counsel coordination, and cross-border operations facilitation.This role involves entity compliance across India, the US, and New Zealand, including managing statutory and regulatory compliance under relevant laws in each jurisdiction.Key responsibilities include drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements, supporting sales and finance teams with customer contract reviews and renewals, and maintaining a contract repository.Additionally, the Legal Operations Manager will work with external counsel for litigation, IP protection, employment law, and data-privacy matters, provide legal inputs to stakeholders on business decisions and pricing models, and draft, review, and update internal policies.Responsibilities:Notice Handling: Manage legal notices, responses, and communications for US, India, and NZ entities.Statutory Compliance: Maintain compliance with Companies Act 2013, FEMA, Labour Laws, GST, and IT Act in India.Liaison and Coordination: Liaise with registered agents and advisors in the US for Delaware franchise filings, annual reports, and state compliance.Contract Renewal: Ensure timely renewal of customer and vendor contracts.Counsel Coordination: Work with external counsel in India, the US, and New Zealand for litigation, IP protection, employment law, and data-privacy matters.Policies and Governance: Provide legal inputs to stakeholders on business decisions, pricing models, and new market entry.
