Mortgage Origination System Administrator

Senior Loan Origination Specialist We are seeking an experienced Senior Loan Origination Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage origination process, you will be responsible for administering and optimizing our Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).Key Responsibilities:Administer and optimize the Encompass LOS platform with a focus on improving efficiency and productivity.Develop advanced knowledge of mortgage origination workflows, including processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing processes.Maintain expert-level mastery of Encompass Admin Tools, including Personas & security, Business rules & automation, Milestones & task framework, Custom input forms, Field configurations, Templates (loan, input, print, business, document sets), and Deep understanding of MISMO data standards, mortgage compliance, and LOS workflows.Leverage strong analytical, troubleshooting, and solution-design skills to resolve complex issues and improve system performance.Lead large-scale Encompass projects or transformation initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and drive continuous improvement.Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in work products.Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, operations staff, and other functional areas, to ensure seamless integration and support across the organization.Provide training, guidance, and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to loan origination, administration, and optimization, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure adherence to established standards and best practices.Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with industry advancements, technologies, and methodologies, enhancing personal and team capabilities.Other duties as assigned by management.Required Skills and Qualifications:8+ years of hands-on experience administering and optimizing the Encompass LOS platform.Advanced knowledge of mortgage origination workflows (processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing).Expert-level mastery of Encompass Admin Tools: Personas & security, Business rules & automation, Milestones & task framework, Custom input forms, Field configurations, Templates (loan, input, print, business, document sets), and Deep understanding of MISMO data standards, mortgage compliance, and LOS workflows.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and solution-design skills.Experience leading large-scale Encompass projects or transformation initiatives.Encompass 360 Administrator Certification (highly preferred).Experience with Encompass API, SDK, Webhooks, or Developer Connect.Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or system integrations.Prior leadership or mentorship of LOS admin teams.Experience working within regulated mortgage environments (banking, credit unions, independent mortgage banks).Benefits:This role offers
