Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Data Insights Specialist. This role involves providing expert-level analytical support to our Finance and Accounting departments.The ideal candidate has extensive experience in data analysis, with a strong background in Finance and Accounting analytics. They will partner closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights, robust reporting, and data models that drive business growth and operational excellence.Main Responsibilities:Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business questions, reporting needs, and analytical requirements.Design, build, and maintain datasets, views, and queries to support recurring and ad hoc analysis.Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and user-friendly.Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth.Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data models, data quality, and documentation across Finance/Accounting domains.Translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.Required Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role.Strong expertise in SQL, with hands-on experience in complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning.Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI.Demonstrated experience working with Finance or Accounting data.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive actionable insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Personal Attributes:High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Curious, proactive, and motivated to improve processes and build scalable solutions.
