As a prospective service engineer at GMS, you will have the opportunity to work with our partner OEMs on-site on hot industry skills related to most advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your contributions will play a crucial role in fostering robust connections with clients and partners worldwide.

What you'll be doing:
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project success. Regularly report on progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Keep projects on track by managing schedules, budgets, and scope. Your organisational skills will be key to driving results.
- Develop and distribute project documentation, including charters, schedules, and budgets, to keep all team members aligned.
- Lead and motivate your team through the project execution process, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Assist in crafting proposals, RFPs, and estimates, contributing to the growth and success of the organisation.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement project controls and risk management procedures to mitigate challenges proactively.
- Provide hands-on support and technical assistance, ensuring the optimal functioning of our products and equipment while maximising uptime.
- Schedule and train field service representatives, manage service contracts, and direct support services for our clients.
What we need to see:
- Proven experience in field services with a strong technical background.
- Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electronics, with 2-10+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment/tools (e.g., Wire Bonding, Die Bonding).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Good communication and management skills, with a knack for building lasting relationships.
- A solid technical understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Prior experience in semiconductor automation equipment
- Skilled to service in component level
- Exposure to semiconductor packaging
