Zimplistic is a product design company inventing intelligent kitchen appliances that promote healthy eating through simplicity & automation. Rotimatic is the world’s first kitchen robot.

We take on problems that have never been solved before, like automating flatbreads that have been made by hand for centuries at the click of a button. This should either scare you or get you super excited. Many companies before us tried and failed in solving this problem because we are perhaps a bit crazy and super multidisciplinary in our problem-solving approach.

We are looking for a dynamic IT Manager for our Bangalore office who would work on the below shared work responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Applications Management:
  • Lead the management and support of our enterprise applications portfolio, including CRM, ERP, HRIS, and other business-critical applications.
  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, customization, and integration of applications to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain application governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the reliability, availability, and security of applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities and align applications initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • ERP Implementation:
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of our ERP system, from requirements gathering and vendor selection to deployment and post-implementation support.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful ERP implementation, including system configuration, data migration, user training, and change management.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that ERP initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope.
  • Monitor and evaluate ERP system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to maximize value and ROI.
  • IT Security:
  • Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's data, systems, and infrastructure from cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor security events and incidents, investigate security breaches, and implement corrective actions and incident response procedures as needed.
  • Provide security awareness training and education to employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with ERP vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure favorable terms and conditions and quality service delivery.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations and take corrective action as needed.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including application developers, analysts, administrators, and security specialists, to ensure high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and security awareness within the IT department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 6-9 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on applications management, ERP implementation, and IT security.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading ERP implementation projects and implementing IT security programs.
  • Strong technical expertise in enterprise applications, ERP systems, IT security technologies, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
