We at HealthFlex, are on a profound mission - to reshape orthopedic and musculoskeletal healthcare in India.


Job Description: We are seeking an Intern, with experience/interest in IoT, Backend (example: node, python, java), Data Science, and AIML (Python). 


Location :- Bangalore,HSR sector 1

Office Timings:- 10am to 7pm (Monday to Saturday)

Stipend:- 20k

Duration:- 6-month internship with the possibility of full-time conversion (PPO) after the completion of the internship


Your primary responsibilities will include;-

Focusing on building and testing algorithms for IoT wearables, testing and writing firmware code, integration efforts on app-side, designing and maintaining APIs which manage the data streams and transformations from the IoT.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, reusable, and efficient code primarily using Python, employing mathematical concepts, along with Typescript/Javascript, ensuring comprehensive documentation for scalability and future enhancements.
  • Writing efficient code based on sensor's datasheet information and configurations.
  • Design and implement robust, low-latency, high-availability solutions that meet performance requirements. 
  • Develop database schemas on MongoDB (SQL) to support business processes and ensure data integrity. 
  • Implement essential features such as user authentication & authorization, data storage solutions, and data protection measures. 
  • Assist in developing Python-based algorithms to process and interpret data from IoT wearable devices.
  • Contribute to the design, prototyping, and testing of motion sensor hardware and firmware, ensuring Python-based scripts enable accurate and reliable data collection. 
  • Facilitate the integration of motion sensors with our software platform using Python, ensuring seamless communication and synchronization of data between hardware and software components. 


Qualifications and Preferred Experience: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Good knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors and different types of modules.
  • Proficiency in Python development, with experience in Typescript/Javascript. Previous internship or project experience in Python development and familiarity with libraries like numpy, scipy, pandas is beneficial. 
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB); MongoDB experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database design principles. 
  • Strong interest in Python development, with a focus on algorithm design, optimization, and testing.
  • Basic understanding of hardware design principles and electronic components. 
  • Knowledge of data science concepts (e.g., data modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis) is advantageous.
