Director of Data StrategyThis role entails strategic leadership and operational management responsibilities, overseeing a team of analysts across the Asia-Pacific region and collaborating with data engineering, development, and global teams.Establish regional standards for semantic models, unified data definitions, and business intelligence solutions.Guide the deployment of artificial intelligence capabilities.Ensure consistent data governance across multiple markets.Required Skills & Qualifications Over 7 years' experience in data solutions, analytics, business intelligence, or data product roles, including recent people management.Demonstrable experience within general insurance data domains.Expert-level proficiency in business intelligence (Premium, XMLA, ALM, optimization, governance).Experience with cloud-based data platforms and/or ETL/ELT tooling such as Informatica.Strong background in semantic model design and unified enterprise data models.Hands-on experience delivering AI applications (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototyping), with understanding of responsible AI.Experience implementing enterprise data catalog and lineage platforms.Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality across multiple markets.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with proven success engaging senior executives internationally.
