Procurement Specialist - Sourcing ExpertJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to drive large or mega-deal engagements within a specific business function. As a key team member or lead role, you will contribute to advisory teams in delivering procurement solutions to assist client sourcing initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Support advisory teams in designing and executing procurement strategies to meet client objectives.Develop and implement initial assessments, project plans, vendor research and selections, financial modeling, RFP creation, contract negotiations, and post-selection administrative tasks.Lead a specific competency or technology focus area, contributing to the development of that practice through IP creation and IP development, thought leadership, including writing whitepapers and articles, creating sales and marketing collateral, conducting competency training and knowledge sharing sessions, methodology enhancements, supporting presales activities and project delivery.Required Skills and Qualifications:15 yrs+ of recent experience in consulting engagements within the outsourcing industry.Significant experience in deal advisory space.Strong understanding of global corporate large deals practice - including key win drivers, solution design, cost levers, ability to work with Service Providers to ensure effective cost solutions and agreed upon service level agreements.Ability to perform assessment projects focused on evaluating clients' current IT environment and process maturity, with a strong understanding of IT spend analysis, cost breakdown, and identifying opportunities for overall cost optimization.Well versed in new age Digital technologies such as Gen AI, Cloud, and Digital solutions, IT outsourcing across one or more areas—Application Services, Infrastructure Services, BPO Services, Industry BPO Services, or ERP—and the ability to effectively integrate these into large deal solutions.Demonstrated experience in advising on IT strategy deals, with a strong focus on designing and executing target operating models that align with client business objectives and drive operational efficiency.Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a technical or scientific field is a mustMBA/MS or other advanced degree(s) is desirableAbout This Opportunity:This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and creative team, contributing to the development of our sourcing expertise.
