Backend Development OpportunityWe are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to collaborate with our technical team in designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs and real-time systems. You will work closely with the founder and engineering partners to develop robust backend architecture for our ride-hailing platform.Designing, developing and maintaining server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity.Developing RESTful APIs for drivers, users, rides, payments, and tracking.Implementing real-time communication using WebSockets and Socket.IO.Managing database structure, data modeling, and ensuring data consistency.Integrating authentication mechanisms, booking engines, and safety features.Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code.Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience with Node.js/Express/NestJS, excellent knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, and expertise with SQL databases. Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps practices is also advantageous.
