Job Title: Senior InspectorThe role of a Senior Inspector involves coordinating and performing pre-dispatch and post-dispatch inspections for renewable energy equipment.Inspectors must understand the inspection plan and checklist content after being trained to the project requirements.Participating in the project opening meeting to brief the supplier on the scope, inspection rules, and schedule.Verifying the conditions on site using the 5M methodology prior to performing the inspection.Coordinating the inspection team on site as per the activity schedule prepared by the Project Manager.Witnessing manufacturing and testing progress by analyzing measurements according to a checklist.Monitoring the testing lead time to ensure completion within the agreed schedule.Informing contact people on the inspection site about findings and analyzing their improvement plans.Reporting to the Project Manager the findings observed on site during the inspection.Filling in the inspection report based on the format prepared by the Service Engineering team.Suggesting ameliorations to the supplier to improve the inspected product and the testing conditions.Key qualifications required include:A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering or technology.Proficiency in correctly interpreting drawings, specifications, and test procedures.Experience in renewable energies, energy storage, or factory inspection is highly desirable.At least 5 years' experience in Quality Control (factory or on-site) and at least 5 years' experience in a PV Module technical position.Management skills with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience are required.Good command of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Highly proficient in spoken and written English.Qualities we look for in candidates include:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
