Coin your trust in us as we create magic together You need to be a HODLer of these Required 6-8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, risk management, or product management roles, with at least 3 years in fintech or crypto/trading environments Strong understanding of market microstructure, trading systems, and risk management frameworks Proven track record of defining and executing strategic initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes Experience creating technical requirements documents and working closely with engineering teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approach Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities Preferred Experience with crypto spot and derivatives trading (futures, options, perpetual swaps) Background in market risk, counterparty risk, or operational risk management Familiarity with order matching engines, liquidation mechanisms, and margin systems Understanding of regulatory requirements for crypto exchanges in India (if applicable) Experience with system design for high-throughput, low-latency trading systems MBA or relevant advanced degree What You'll Bring Strategic Thinking : Ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision, making tradeoffs that optimize for sustainable growth Risk Mindset : Deep understanding of how to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks without stifling innovation Technical Fluency : Comfortable working with engineering teams on system architecture and technical specifications Metrics Orientation : Obsessed with measuring what matters and driving continuous improvement Collaboration : Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders without direct authority Adaptability : Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with changing priorities You will be mining through these tasks Strategic Planning & Execution Own the strategic vision and quarterly roadmaps for risk management and cost optimization across all trading products Identify gaps in current processes and systems, prioritizing initiatives based on risk-return tradeoffs Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations to translate strategy into executable plans Risk Management & System Design Create detailed BRDs outlining non-functional requirements for trading systems, with emphasis on risk controls, latency optimization, and throughput capacity Design risk frameworks and intervention mechanisms for spot, derivatives, and structured products Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to identify vulnerabilities and build mitigation strategies Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure system designs meet risk and performance requirements Collaborate with Compliance and Legal to ensure regulatory alignment in all strategic initiatives Partner with Finance to optimize cost structures while maintaining operational resilience Organizational Design & Metrics Define and implement organizational structures that support scalability and clear accountability Establish KPIs and success metrics for Markets sub-teams (Risk, Trading Operations, Custody, Market Making) Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track performance against strategic objectives Process Optimization Identify opportunities to improve security, risk controls, and operational efficiency across trade and custody workflows Drive initiatives to reduce error rates and improve turnaround times (TAT) across critical processes Champion automation and tooling improvements to scale operations efficiently Success Metrics Your performance will be measured by: Cost of Liquidity: Reduce the cost of liquidity for trading products Risk-Adjusted Profitability : Reduce losses as a percentage of revenue due to negative equity events (slippage, suboptimal liquidations) Process Excellence : Achieve improvement in upgraded processes from security, risk, and efficiency perspectives, measured by: Turnaround time (TAT) reduction Error rate improvement Risk incident reduction Operational Quality : Drive error rates in trade and custody processes below (X)%, with shared ownership across respective teams Strategic Delivery : Successfully deliver on quarterly roadmap commitments with measurable impact on business metrics Are you the one?
