Role: IR Compliance Lead

Exp: 8 to 12 yrs

Location: Mumbai

Areas of responsibility include:

Guiding HRBP for end-to-end handling disciplinary matters reported in sync with the Corporate Disciplinary Actions Team. Detail review of incidents raised and ensuring timely closures keeping in mind the legal implications of the course of action undertaken.

Managing the Complains where disciplinary matters are reported. To ensure all incidents reported and recorded along with appropriate artifacts / evidence and the cases are addressed and picked up for closure appropriately.

Drafting important memos like Charge-sheets, Show Cause notice, Warning memos etc.

Conduct Enquiry proceedings in guidance of the Regional Compliance Manager, documentation of artifacts and proceedings. Provide necessary guidance to ensure compliance with statue thereby ensuring minimal litigation post enquiry.

Suggesting appropriate punitive action for the disciplinary cases considering the nature of misconduct and ensuring standard approach across branches as per Right Behavior policy for Contract Employees of firm.

Effective stakeholder management – Contract HR, Corporate Compliance team, IEG, IIU, Corporate Legal etc.

MIS and Reporting.

Litigation Management in coordination with Corporate Counsel Team and Corporate Compliance Team, including visiting Labor Courts, Motor Accidents Tribunal, Labor Office, etc

Participating in Domestic Enquires, POSH Investigations, Contractor Audits.

Career learning opportunities: In this role, the person will gain a good understanding of labor laws that govern the IT Industry and the application of the same within the disciplinary framework of the Company. This role is niche and exposes the person to effective stakeholder management. Exposure to Industrial Relations and Litigation Management.


Reporting Relationship: Manager –HR Head of Unit

Qualification required: Post graduation in LLB / Labor Laws/ Social Work is preferred.

Minimum experience required: 8 – 12 years


Additional Requirement: Candidate should be fluent in Hindi Language- Read, Write & Speak in Hindi. This role will involve Travel for investigations.
