Job Description:Location: BangaloreExperience: 8 to 10 yearsNotice period: Immediate to 30 days onlyCore Skills: Magento, PHP, Rest APIThe Senior Back-End Developer (eCommerce) will design, build, test, debug, document, support, and enhance application software that enables the enterprise eCommerce platform.Responsibilities:Understand the data, components, integrations, and runtime environment that comprise the eCommerce platformCollaborate with Digital Product Owners to understand, clarify, and enrich business and technical requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteriaMaintain and demonstrate a working knowledge of the team’s standards and best practicesPartner with architects, technical leaders, and/or peers to identify optimal solutions, mitigate risks, and leverage opportunities accordinglyWork with Quality Assurance (QA) professionals to craft test cases and supporting dataAssist in the estimation of overall work effort, calendar duration, and dependencies associated with a deliverableEngineer applications, integrations, and data pipelines with well-structured, scalable, efficient, fault-tolerant, code that would serve as a standard of excellence for other developersBuild and/or enhance automated unit tests to ensure code quality, resilience, and high code coverageFollow established best practices for code management, information security, and release managementMaintain clear, professional, open communication across all levels of the teamActively participate in and contribute to appropriate agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and knowledge sharingAuthor and maintain documentation including but not limited to contextual diagrams, technical specifications, procedures, configuration settings, and dependenciesProvide timely and responsive triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues in all relevant environmentsRequired Experience and Skills:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in information technologyOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsA minimum of 5 years developing and supporting solutions for a commercial enterprise using the technologies listed belowMagento 2.x (either open-source or Adobe)PHPGraphQLMySQL or SQL ServerAPI development and implementationPreferred Experience and Skills:Adobe Commerce / Experience Cloud (or equivalent commerce platform)Github (or equivalent code management)Jira (or equivalent work management)Confluence (or equivalent knowledge management)MuleSoft and/or Azure API ManagementDatabricksAzure Data Lake
