Job Title:Sr. Test Automation Engineer - Driving QualityAbout the Role:A seasoned professional with hands-on experience in creating API/UI automated test scripts using Java, Selenium for UI and RestSharp for API automation.Well-versed in Software Testing Life Cycle and Defect Management (SDLC) processes.Proven expertise in delivering projects under agile methodologies like Scrum and Lean.Familiarity with Test Management Tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Rally, or Azure DevOps is a plus.Proficient in setting up and executing CI/CD pipelines, with knowledge of Azure DevOps being an advantage.Expertise in database testing and proficient in testing applications written in Java, C#, .Net, Angular, and Node.js.Skilled in using Postman, Rest APIs, or SoapUI for web service testing.Maintains automation frameworks, with experience in Hybrid/TDD/BDD approaches.Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills by proposing innovative ideas to overcome automation challenges.Key Responsibilities:Create efficient automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and RestSharp.Develop and maintain high-quality software testing processes.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes as needed.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.Requirements:Hands-on experience in creating API/UI automated test scripts.Strong understanding of SDLC processes and defect management.Experience in agile project delivery and test management tools.CI/CD pipeline setup and execution skills.Proficiency in database testing and application testing in various languages.Knowledge of web service testing using Postman, Rest APIs, or SoapUI.Automation framework maintenance and development skills.
