High-Volume Steel Scrap Sales Professional

Job DescriptionAs a seasoned sales professional with strong international exposure in steel scrap selling, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. The ideal candidate must possess deep market knowledge, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in high-volume scrap sales.Develop and implement effective sales strategies for steel scrap to achieve maximum revenue growth.Identify, engage, and manage relationships with buyers across various geographies to expand our customer base.Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and closing of deals to ensure timely delivery of steel scrap products.Track market trends, competitor movements, and price fluctuations to inform strategic business decisions.Coordinate logistics, shipments, and all related documentation to ensure seamless operations.Maintain strong relationships with steel mills and key stakeholders to foster partnerships and drive business growth.Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to inform business strategy and drive decision-making.Required Skills & Qualifications10+ years of experience in sales/marketing of steel scrap or metal scrap with a proven track record of success.Strong understanding of pricing, global markets, and steel mills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.Proven experience managing high-volume scrap transactions with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.Result-oriented with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.Strong product knowledge and domain expertise with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to drive business results.Additional RequirementsWillingness to relocate and travel extensively to support business growth and development.Strong network among industrial buyers in SAARC countries with the ability to leverage relationships to drive sales growth.
