Strategic Tax Leadership:

• Design and implement global tax strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Lead post-acquisition tax integration with the German entity.

• Develop tax-efficient structures for international operations.

• Manage global transfer pricing policies and documentation.

• Optimize group's effective tax rate while ensuring compliance.


Compliance & Risk Management:

• Oversee global tax compliance across all jurisdictions.

• Manage direct tax obligations.

• Monitor and respond to changing tax legislation across regions.

• Implement tax risk management frameworks.

• Manage Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing Audits compliance.

• Manage Direct tax litigations and closely work with tax expert to address.

• Ensure proper tax accounting and reporting under various standards (IFRS, local GAAP).


M & A and Structure:

• Provide tax advisory support for future M&A activities.

• Structure cross-border transactions tax-efficiently.

• Manage tax aspects of group reorganizations.

• Optimize holding company and subsidiary structures.


Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a global tax team.

• Coordinate with regional finance heads and tax managers.

• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities.

• Develop tax capabilities across the organization.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Qualified CA
  • Experience: Minimum 15+ years in international taxation, preferably in the chemical/manufacturing industry or Big 4 consultancy.
  • Preferred Skills: Global exposure and a strong business partnering mindset.

Key Expertise:

  • Managing tax complexities post-acquisition.
  • Integrating tax operations seamlessly.
  • Designing tax-efficient structures for growth.
