Job DescriptionAs a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and manage EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.You will also work collaboratively with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.A strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.You should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch is required. Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is also highly desirable.SkillsThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform and a solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies. Familiarity with monitoring platforms like Data Dog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold is also beneficial. Additionally, experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration is preferred.
