About the RoleThis position involves owning and evolving cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable deployments across multiple environments.Key responsibilities include implementing infrastructure-as-code practices for reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure; building and improving monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to detect and resolve issues quickly.The successful candidate will optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, reserved capacity planning, and architectural improvements; implement and maintain security controls including network isolation, secrets management, and access policies.Additionally, this role involves collaborating with backend engineers to optimize serverless architectures and event-driven systems; establishing and documenting operational runbooks and incident response procedures.The ideal candidate will also evaluate and introduce new tools and practices that improve developer productivity and system reliability.RequirementsProficiency in designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure.Experience with CI/CD pipeline management.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices.Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.Ability to optimize cloud costs.Security clearance and experience with security controls.Collaboration skills with backend engineers.Documentation and procedural writing skills.Continuous improvement mindset.
