Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CAD Design Technician to support our structural steel projects. As a CAD Design Technician, you will be responsible for developing and managing 3D models in Autodesk Advance Steel.Create detailed drawings and documentation for fabrication, assembly, and workshop purposes.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues and ensure model accuracy.Review and update drawings based on redlines, design revisions, and client feedback.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Detailing: Develop 3D models and create detailed drawings for structural steel projects.Documentation: Create accurate and complete documentation for fabrication, assembly, and workshop processes.Quality Control: Ensure that designs and drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.RequirementsProven experience as a CAD Operator or Steel Detailer working with Autodesk Advance Steel (mandatory).Strong understanding of structural steel components, connections, and fabrication processes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Familiarity with industry standards related to steel structures (EN is the only used).Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail — mistakes here cost real money.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Good English communication skills for technical documentation and coordination.BenefitsA role where your output directly shapes real projects.Modern tools, fast decision-making, and a team that appreciates competence.Growth opportunities in advanced modeling, automation, and digital fabrication.
