Job Title: Optical Engineer- Stray Light AnalysisWe are seeking an experienced optical engineer with a keen interest in stray light analysis using Ansys SPEOS and basic optical system design in Zemax Optics Studio.The role involves analyzing complex optical designs, exporting to SPEOS, and performing stray light analysis in imaging, illumination, and optical sensor systems.Key Responsibilities:Design, validate, and optimize optical models for lens systems, surfaces, optimization, and tolerancing in Zemax.Analyze stray light effects in optical designs, identifying ghost images, scattering, reflections, and diffraction effects.Develop and validate SPEOS GPU simulations using SPEOS material library models for materials and coatings.Propose mitigation strategies for stray light issues, including baffles, coatings, surface finishes, apertures, and filters.Conduct trade-off studies between CPU and GPIJ, optimizing performance and efficiency.Generate clear technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and client reviews.Stay updated with the latest methodologies and tool capabilities in stray light modeling/simulations.Collaborate with senior optical engineers to integrate findings into product design and apply advanced stray light mitigation strategies.
