FX Simulation SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled FX simulation specialist to join our team.Create a wide range of simulations including ocean, fluid systems, splashes, rigid body dynamics, pyro explosions, smoke, fire, cloth simulations, particle systems, procedural effects, and more.Design custom setups, templates, and HDAs and work off pre-built existing workflows.Collaborate with the production team to integrate your simulations into plates and create high-quality visual effects.Requirements:Proficient in Houdini FX with excellent knowledge of simulation techniques and technologies.Awareness of lighting/shading skills and slapcomps.Strong understanding of simulation principles and their applications.At least 5 years of experience in simulated FX creation.Familiarity with Python and VEX programming languages is an asset.Prior experience in film, commercial, or episodic/streaming television production is preferred.An effective communicator who takes initiative to improve workflows and final outcomes.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Skilled at managing time and resources to meet project deadlines.Capable of performing under pressure and iterating quickly.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
