Visual Effects SpecialistWe are seeking a talented Visual Effects Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in creating high-quality visual effects for film, television, and commercial productions.Job Description:The Senior FX Artist will be responsible for creating a wide range of visual effects simulations, including open body ocean, fluid systems and splashes, rigid body dynamics and destruction, pyro explosions, smoke, and fire, cloth simulations, particle systems, procedural effects, and more.The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Houdini FX and experience with simulation techniques and technologies related to FX. They will also have strong lighting/shading skills along with slapcomps and the ability to work within tight deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Create complex visual effects simulations using Houdini FXWork closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality effectsDevelop and implement new workflows and techniques to improve efficiency and qualityCollaborate with other artists and technicians to achieve project goalsRequirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:5+ years of experience in simulated FX creationExcellent knowledge of Houdini FX and simulation techniquesStrong lighting/shading skills and ability to create high-quality imagesAbility to work under tight deadlines and iterate on versions quicklyStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience working on film, commercial, or episodic/streaming television productions is preferred.
