You will analyze and report financial and operational results, monitor performance, and assist with providing key inputs for the strategic planning process. You will be expected to partner with the business and with colleagues in Finance, and to be able to articulate data-driven insights for consumption and decision-making by the business About the Team At Nutanix, you will be joining the Sales Finance team, a dynamic and collaborative group consisting of 12 members located across the US, EMEA, Singapore, and India. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with business leaders across various functions within the organization, providing key financial insights and support to drive strategic decisions. You will report to the Senior Manager of Finance within the EMEA Sales Finance team at Nutanix. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, with employees expected to be in the office for 2 days a week. This setup allows for a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility, providing an optimal environment for productivity and team engagement. There are no travel requirements associated with this position, allowing you to focus on your responsibilities and projects without the need for frequent business trips. Your Role To support the Theater and Functional Finance team to support the planning, budgeting and forecasting activity of the teamTo contribute strategy and business planning through:Analysis of market dynamics, business trendsCo-ordination of inputs from cross-functional groupsLeveraging reporting and insights provided by HQ and adjacent functionsPrimary responsibility for HC and Opex Forecasting for the EMEA Sales TeamWorking with HQ FP&A to provide in-Theater ad hoc support for Channel, Marketing, Services and Customer Success.To represent FP&A where applicable in Finance projects and programsProvide detailed financial reporting for the EMEA Sales leadership on aspects such as opex, margin, T&EAd-hoc reporting from Netsuite, Tableau, and Salesforce as requiredAssist with building a Headcount and Annual Operating Plan which is robust and consistent with HQ productivity and profitability expectationsPrepare variance analyses to identify and explain significant variances to budgetPrepare departmental reports with budget to actual comparison for distribution to department leadsPerform financial analysis, as directed by management, and recommend appropriate courses of action utilizing appropriate financial tools (e.g. NPV, ROI, etc.)Assist in preparation of analytics and presentations   What You Will Bring Degree educated, with at least 6 to 8 years of post-qualification related experience in either FP&A, management consulting or other analytical rolesFluency in EnglishAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and logical functionsAbility to think creatively and quickly with minimal directionAbility to stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a dynamic environmentStrong relationship building and communication skillsExperience working in a matrix organization and/or dealing with multiple cross-functional partnersExperience with ERP/Planning Systems (Adaptive Planning/Netsuite) is a plusExperience with Salesforce/Tableau is a plusExperience working in a fast-growing IT systems/networking organization is a plusWork ArrangementThis role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
