Job Title: Enterprise API Management ProfessionalWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise API Management Professional to lead the design, implementation and operation of our AI API platform. You will collaborate with architecture, development, security and DevOps teams to build a scalable, secure and robust API-ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:API Design: Utilize IBM API Connect, DataPower gateways or equivalent API management platform to craft APIs that meet business requirements.API Governance: Define policies for authentication/authorization (OAuth2, API-key, JWT), rate limits, quotas, versioning and lifecycle management.API Gateway Management: Manage the routing, transformation, orchestration and protocol mediation (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) of APIs.Developer Portal Setup: Publish APIs, onboard internal/external consumers, document APIs and enable self-service subscription through the developer portal.Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor API usage, performance, latency and error metrics, analyzing usage patterns and production issues to optimize the API-ecosystem.Security and Resilience: Handle API security and resilience by securing back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation and ensuring high-availability.Tech Stack: Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as API Gateway, S3 and EKS.Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with API management best practices, emerging protocols and evolving IBM tool capabilities.
