You'll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Develop and implement quality strategy, standards, tracking, and services for Customer QualityPlans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams.Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.Collects data to identify root cause of problems.Measures performance against process requirements.Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.Communicates team progress.Performs cost and benefit analyses.Participate in implementing best practices and techniques in project management.Manage changing priorities on projects through effective schedule management and deployment of project management methodologies.Operate as role model by striving for continuous improvement and being an agent of change.SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals.
