SAP FICO Consultant Job DescriptionThe role of a SAP FICO Functional Consultant involves analyzing financial reports, mapping data to S/4HANA structures, and preparing functional specifications.Analyzing ECC financial reports and mapping to S/4HANA is crucial for this position.Identifying required attributes for Global Data Lake extraction is another key responsibility.Preparing high-quality functional specs, FRDs, BRDs, and process documentation is essential for successful project execution.Performing FIT/GAP analysis and defining To-Be processes are critical tasks in this role.Supporting unit testing, integration testing, and financial data validation ensures the accuracy and reliability of the system.Validating GL postings, sub-ledgers, period-end processes, and tax logic is vital for compliance with global financial reporting templates.Required Skills and QualificationsA minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP FICO with strong AR/AP/GL expertise.Mandatory: ECC + S/4HANA hands-on experience.Strong skills in functional documentation & data mapping are necessary for success in this role.A deep understanding of SAP FI tables (BSEG, BSID, BSAD, BSIK, BSAK, etc.) is critical.Brownfield migration experience is preferred but not mandatory.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for collaboration and conflict resolution.
