Jr. Accountant

Job Summary:The Junior Accountant will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial documentation.Key Responsibilities:Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / SAP / Zoho Books etc.)Maintain ledgers — accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)Prepare and process invoices, bills, and paymentsReconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularlyAssist in month-end and year-end closing activitiesSupport the preparation of financial statements and reportsMaintain proper documentation of vouchers, receipts, and journal entriesHandle petty cash and expense reimbursementsAssist in statutory filings — GST, TDS, PF, ESI (as applicable)Coordinate with auditors during internal and external auditsEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
