Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Expert to lead our security efforts and ensure the integrity of our computer networks, applications, and data.This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems to safeguard our digital assets from various threats.Security Architecture & Implementation:We require someone with expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.Implementing security controls for cloud, network, application, and endpoint environments is crucial for this position.The ideal candidate will develop and maintain secure system configurations and hardening guidelines.Threat Detection & Incident Response:A strong monitoring capability is essential for detecting suspicious activities and responding to potential security incidents.The selected candidate will investigate security incidents, lead response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.Vulnerability Management:Regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests are necessary to identify risks and work with IT/engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities.Maintaining and updating the organization's risk register is also an important aspect of this role.Policy, Compliance & Governance:Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards is critical for ensuring regulatory compliance.The ideal candidate will conduct security awareness training for employees and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Identity & Access Management:Managing IAM tools and enforcing least-privilege access controls is essential for this position.The selected candidate will oversee MFA, SSO, and privileged access management solutions.Collaboration & Documentation:Candidates should be able to work closely with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to maintain secure environments.Preparing detailed security reports, incident summaries, and audit documentation is also required.Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning is also an essential part of this role.
