About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee manufacturing operations in Chennai. The role involves managing production, quality, safety, inventory, and cost efficiency while leading multi-shift teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day factory operations and production schedules.
- Drive lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance .
- Supervise and develop production teams, coordinate with HR for manpower planning.
- Monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and optimize operational costs.
Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (master’s preferred).
- 10–15 years in manufacturing management, with 5+ years in senior factory leadership .
- Experience in heavy engineering/pump manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, ISO/ASME standards, and safety management .
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
