Automation Tester Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Python-based UI, API, and WebSocket automation. As a key member of our QA team, you will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and peers to ensure product quality, performance, and reliability.The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Python, knowledge of UI Automation using Selenium (Python), Pytest Framework, API Testing – Postman/Swagger, WebSocket Testing, Performance Testing using JMeter, CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins) and Git. Additionally, knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.This role involves developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, building scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and WebSocket testing, and improving script reusability, modularity, and performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing REST API validations, developing automated API test suites, and executing WebSocket test scenarios (real-time event/message validations, latency, connection stability).Key Responsibilities:Requirement Analysis & Test Planning: Participate in client interactions, convert functional/technical specifications into automation-ready test scenarios, and ensure seamless testing and automation requirements.Automation Testing & Framework Development: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Selenium, and Pytest, build scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and WebSocket testing, and improve script reusability, modularity, and performance.API & WebSocket Testing: Perform REST API validations, develop automated API test suites, and execute WebSocket test scenarios (real-time event/message validations, latency, connection stability).
