CS&D is committed to driving the business goalsof Mastercard by maximizing the impact of content. We foster solutions toprovide the right content, to the right stakeholders, in the right format, at theright time. We accomplish this goal by collaborating with business partners tounderstand customer needs and deliver timely, high-quality information in awide range of media and languages.Overview:This position supports the creation, delivery, and maintenance oftechnical documentation that supports Mastercard products andservices.Role:• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Product Managers,Engineers, Testers, etc.) to create and update technical content• Accountable for the successful completion of high-qualityprojects within the technical writing function• Ensure the documentation algins with the CS&D writingstandards• Manage the review lifecycle and address input and feedbackreceived from internal business partners and external customers• Provide excellent customer service to our business partners andcustomers• Author in XML or markdown, for content creation and editing• Use screen capture and graphic tools to add visualsto your document• Publish technical content to multiple platforms and output types,such as PDF, HTML, Wiki, and online help file generation• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity as per company guidelines• Demonstrate the following Mastercard Way principles andbehaviors:• Create value for our customers, partners, and colleagues• Grow together to achieve our goals• Move fast on what matters most for our customers and MastercardAll About You:• 4+ years of technical writing experience• Strong organizational and time management skills• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Technologically savvy, with a process improvement mindset• Adaptable to dynamic change and ambiguity thriving in a fastpaced environment• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities• Team player, ability to interact and consult with various levelsthroughout the organization to cultivate and expand partnerships• Exhibit the highest degree of professionalism, accountability,and empowerment to drive results• Basic working understanding of content localization• Ability to work independently including the ability to problemsolve and troubleshoot• Experience with Microsoft Office products• Experience with content managementsystem (CMS) and other authoring tools, such as Ixiasoft,Oxygen, xMetal, Visual Studio Code• Basic understanding of DITA/XML, HTML, and PDF• Experience with MSTP/Chicago/any other technical publicationguidelines• API specification documentation experience is a plus• Understand usage of generative AI to enhance productivity, create content drafts, or refine existing documentation, and stay current on how these technologies impact content strategyCorporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices;Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;Report any suspected information security violation or breach, andComplete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
