Primary Responsibilities● Demonstrate a deep understanding of frontend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.Guide the team in making well-informed technical decisions and design choices to optimize application performance, usability, and scalability.Explore new open-source technologies, adopt and contribute back to open-source.Define and drive the best software development/engineering and operational practices for the team.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.Build, mentor, and lead a team of frontend developers, helping them grow,develop their careers and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Set clear objectives and expectations for the team, aligning their efforts with the company's goals and product roadmap.Foster effective communication and collaboration between frontend and backend development teams to ensure seamless integration of components.Partnering with Product Management and Design to lead feature execution across engineering disciplines to deliver great experiences.Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or roadblocks, proactively taking measures to address them.
What Are We Looking For?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Engineers who are obsessed with optimizations and are ready to go the extra mile to deliver the best app experience to the customers.8 + years of experience building high scale web applications.1+ years of experience handling a team of 6+ people.Proficient with React, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS with a minimum of 5 years of experience.Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and Typescript.Good to have hands-on experience on Tailwind, Next.js, MaterialUI and other frontend frameworks.Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme,Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Worked in a startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment.A growth mindset and passion about building things from the ground up, and most importantly, you should be fun to work with.
