Job Description : Open Positions : 2   Talend Data Engineer
------------------

Dataceria is looking for a Talend Data Engineer to develop and manage data integration solutions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Talend, including Talend Administration Center (TAC), Talend Cloud Management Console (TMC), Talend Data Integration, Talend Big Data, and Talend Open Studio, as well as API integration experience with Apigee. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance ETL processes and data workflows that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
----------------------
ETL Development : Design, implement, and optimize ETL workflows using Talend to ensure data quality and efficiency.
API Integration : Develop and manage RESTful APIs with Apigee and Talend ESB for smooth data flows across applications.
Environment Management : Oversee Talend jobs through TAC and TMC for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Collaboration : Gather requirements from stakeholders to build tailored solutions; collaborate with Data Architects and Analysts.
Mentorship : Train and support junior team members on Talend best practices.

Requirements
----------------
·      Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
·      4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on Talend Data Integration and API integration.
·      Proficient in Talend Data Integration , Talend Big Data , Talend Open Studio , Talend Administration Center (TAC) , and Talend Cloud Management Console (TMC) .
·      Strong experience with Apigee API Management and API integration, with a solid understanding of RESTful API principles.
·      Expertise in ETL development, data transformation, and data warehousing concepts.
·      Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps practice for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) within Talend.
·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
·      Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
·      Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
---------------------------
·      Experience in Talend Big Data components and cloud-based integration.
·      Familiarity with additional integration tools and technologies (MuleSoft, Kafka).
·      Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
