Must-Have
  • Associate must have good hands-on knowledge in ETL Development tool Talend version 7 or above.
  • At Least 3+ years of development experience in Talend.
  • Good knowledge on data warehousing.
  • Good SQL knowledge and query tuning.
  • Performance tuning of Talend jobs.
  • Working experience in Agile development model. Prior experience of working in scrum.
  • Writing Java routines required for Talend jobs.
  • Good knowledge in Unix and shell scripting.
  • Banking domain knowledge is preferable.
  • Design experience in ETL technology.
  • Autosys experience is preferred.

Good-to-Have
  • Data Modeling
  • PL/SQL and Unix
  • Big data (Hive)
  • Data warehousing fundamentals and concepts

Responsibility of/Expectations from the Role

  • Design high quality deliverables adhering to business requirement with defined standards and design principles, patterns
  • Develop and maintain highly scalable, high performance ETL applications using Talend 7 or above
  • Develop/Integrate the code adhering to CI/CD, using Maven and uDeploy
  • Provide solutions to ETL problems dealing with huge volumes of data. Handling XML and JSON formats.
  • Worked with MQ / Tibco queue mechanism
  • Should be able to work with a team who might be geographically distributed. Review the code modules developed by other juniors.
  • Should take part in deployment activities and have knowledge on scheduling tools like Autosys
  • Should have work experience working in Agile Methodology
  • Should be able to analyze the existing codes to resolve Production issues
